Not every sacrifice is worth it

Most people sacrifice what they want MOST for what they want RIGHT NOW...

  • Dreams of purpose, passion and creativity, for sitting on the couch binge watching Netflix

  • Relationships filled with deep connection and intimacy, for surface connections found on Bumble.

  • Financial freedom with uncapped potential, for hanging in bars having the same boring conversations.

  • A thriving business of your own, with the freedom to create your own schedule, work from where you want, with who you want, for a leadership position in someone else’s business because it seems like the easier option.

If this is you, I totally get it. I did it for a long time, too.

Prioritizing what would bring instant pleasure, instead of long term satisfaction.

And it's not even our fault.

We've been trained to give into quick fixes, instant gratification, sexual impulses and scrolling instagram.

The problem is...

When you sacrifice what you want MOST, for what you want NOW, you'll eventually feel like something is missing. Wondering why you have everything you ever wanted, but crave something MORE.

To have what you want MOST...

  • To wake up every day energized and excited as you follow your passion and purpose.

  • To find a deep sense of meaning and connection in yourself and your relationships

  • To have a career/ business that you are proud of, doing good work in the world, while you make $$$$

It's going to take DISCIPLINE.

Discipline to choose what you want MOST, instead of what you want NOW.

That is the ONLY sacrifice that is worth it.

A desire was not put on your heart for no reason, and what you truly want IS possible.

To have it, you must choose the path that brings you closer to where you MOST want to be.

And not settling for what is going to bring you short term satisfaction over long term fulfillment.

I'm not going to say it's easy to choose what you want MOST, over what you want right NOW.

But it is easier than waking up one day, with regret.

So tell me, where in your life are you sacrificing what you want MOST, for what you want right now?

Want to stop sacrificing yourself for your success?
